The overall message of PRAYERS FOR JORDAN is HOPE.
"And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us." Romans 5:5

JORDAN'F FIRST DAY AT HOME
Jordan fought many serious health issues during his first days at home, one of which was being almost locked in a permanent "gingerbread man" pose due to dystonia.
FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE
Jordan spent 31 days in the hospital during the last days of the summer of 2006.

Jordan could not have a website and not mention a very important person, Dr. Jerry Tennant. As a family, we attribute Jordan's remarkable improvements to the integrative medical approach to healing that this gifted doctor has applied to Jordan's case. Included in this treatment is a unique and almost miraculous little device that is called a biomodulator. Essentially, when Jordan was released from the hospital, most traditional medical professionals offered no hope of Jordan ever recovering at all from his persistant vegetative state. We were told that there was little if anything that could be done to help children with such severe, global brain damage. Jordan IS improving and continues to heal a little more each day thanks to God and His divine provisions through Dr. Tennant. If you would like to know more about Dr. Tennant, integrative medicine, and the biomodulator, website links are provided above.
Jordan's Therapy and Nurses
Several talented and dedicated therapists also work on Jordan's recovery efforts. They are Beth Sikes, occupational therapist, Sue Baechle, physical therapist, and Christine Morrow, speech therapist. All are associated with The Therapy Center in Hendersonville, Tn. Each one of these therapists see Jordan as an individual who can achieve goals and be an active participant in his own recovery. They all recognize his fighting spirit and reward his efforts with praise and respect. For their excellent care of Jordan and their obvious love for him, we thank them. Jordan also has numerous wonderful, kind nurses who provide impeccable care for Jordan. Without their help, we could not do what we do for Jordan and our family!!! There are four nurses that cover most of the shifts and several others that cover the extra shifts. The four are Patti Shike, Becky Mikels, Wilma Fisher, and Alysen Williams. We are thankful to all of them for their loving care of Jordan. Thanks!!!
MAKE ROOM FOR JORDAN
Some very dear friends, Julie and Susan Clark, have submitted an application to EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER for us. Julie was only 12 years old at the time of Jordan's accident, but she has diligently prayed for Jordan from the first day. Never underestimate just how much a determined and compassionate young person can achieve. The EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER was originally Julies' idea. Susan, Julie's mother, supported Julie's plan and they set out to make it happen. Thank you so very much for your willingness to help others. Since Jordan's accident, all of our collective efforts as a family have focused on helping Jordan recover. Jordan's need for additional room, specialized equipment, healthcare machines, therapy items, wheelchairs, bathing chairs, etc. has made an already cramped living arrangement much more critical ( 5 children and 3 adults in a three bedroom house with only 1 1/2 bathrooms). Our wonderful friends, Erika and Mae Chambers, have also volunteered to help by collecting signatures to show public support for helping Jordan and his family. They designed a logo, and provided a website. The entire Chambers family have given sacrificially of themselves to help our family during this very difficult time. Thank you is so inadequate to express the depth of our gratitude to our friends. What a truly amazing group of friends!!! I would like to thank them all for their love and help. I truly don't know what we would do without them.
Mae Chambers is one of Jordan's most devoted supporters. We can never thank her, or her family enough for their support of Jordan and our family. They have been instrumental in much of the therapies that we have been able to provide for Jordan. John Chambers, spent a great deal of time on editing and formating the video for Extreme Home Makeover, not to mention all the prayers. Mae's daughter, Erika spent endless hours on the internet researching therapies and gathering information for us. Erika also devoted much of her personal time to overseeing the collecting of signatures and maintaining the petition for Extreme Home Makeover. She has told Jordan's story numerous times when she sang Jordan's song, "Don't Cross the River Jordan", which Mae and Erika co-wrote. It is so beautiful. Their whole family has continued to be there for us as a family in ways too numerous to mention. I cannot count the hours that they have devoted to our cause. They have been there for us since the very day of the accident. They have never wavered in their support. Quite literally we could not have weathered this storm without their love and tremendous dedication. Words can never express our heartfelt emotion toward them all. Debbi Rigdon, owner of Virtual Goldmine, has also demonstrated her devotion to Jordan's healing and to helping our family help Jordan. She designed Jordan's original website, MAKE ROOM FOR JORDAN.com and spent numerous hours "fixing things" when plans got changed unexpectedly. She also transferred everything to Jordan's new website PRAYERS FOR JORDAN.com . She is a very talented designer and a great lady. Even though we have never had the opportunity to meet in person, she has devoted herself to Jordan in a remarkable and selfless way. How blessed we are to have such friends!
Special Friends
I would especially like to thank Tiffany Vara for being a beacon of light at the end of the darkness, encouraging us and leading us in the right direction to help Jordan. God has used you and Abbie(PRAY FOR ABBIE) to help us is so many ways. Thank you for being willing to share Abbie's amazing story with us and others. You inspire us continually!!!
Also thank you to Kelly and Russ Hall for your continued support and love. You are always there to help us do what needs to be done. Thank you for all the times that you have walked with us down this difficult path.
Janet and Brent Wilson have also faithfully carried this load with us. Brent has brought balloons to Jordan almost every week since he came home from the hospital. Bouncing the balloons that he held in his hands were one of the first things Jordan was able to enjoy since his accident. The balloon on the logo "Make Room for Jordan" represents those balloons. Thank you guys!!!
Our church, First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, has gone beyond what I would have ever imagined. They have sent up literally thousands of prayers on behalf of Jordan and our family. Continually they have brought meals and sent cards and gifts to our family. We have been truly blessed!
First and foremost, I place my faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who chose to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to offer the ulimate gift of Life. My hope is to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. My Life's goal is to glorify his name by demonstrating His Love to others.
Next I am Bobby's wife. Then I am Erin, Jeannie, Buddy, and Laura's mom. I am Amanda's mother-in-law. I am also Owen, Sadie, Ashton, Kayleigh, Brandon, and Jordan's Granny. I love them all very much.
